Which Olympic events will you just not watch?

I love soccer but that would be a joke. I also dislike skateboarding in the olympics because the bar should be VERY high for judged sports and any "sport" you can play while listening to your ipod isn't real.

Like running? Cycling?

Boxing and wrestling.

I know these athletes are AMAZING but I also don’t watch a lot of the sports where there is a subjective element to scoring (ice skating, gymnastics, etc.).

Are you kidding me? Dressage is the best. Did you see the horse dancing to club music?

That was the only one that I watched, while it happened live, and I couldn't watch more. It just....meh.

What? Sure, if there were a new tricycle event (couldn't hack it in cycling) or maybe speed walking qualifies. The equivalent there would be "running on grass" with the same events instead of a track.

Wrestling and boxing. I just don't get the fun of beating the living crap out of your competitor.
Karate and judo are out there, too, but they seem less violent and a bit more ceremonial. Female wrestling and boxing, on the other hand, are just revolting.

Wrestling, boxing, basketball , indoor volleyball (I like beach), soccer, any kind of shooting, archery, baseball, and badminton ( how is that an Olympic sport?),

PP is saying that running and cycling athletes could listen to music while competing (if they wanted to, I am aware that they do not) so according to you those aren't sports.

As someone who played competitive indoor and beach volleyball I'd like to tell you that you have no idea what you are talking about!

Maybe you should watch these. There is no striking in either wrestling or judo.

Just FYI, the beach volleyball players do their high-fives and hugs to exchange information sometimes and prepare for the next play...I still wish they'd wear uniforms that are more athletic. But the bikinis earn TV ratings, which pay the bills. I do not watch it. I love regular team volleyball.
