| Did you spend a lot of time in the ocean - that can cause both those symptoms |
|
It is the Delaware Disease! Everyone gets it! All Delaware students know you get it... DH works at one of the resorts and he got it and we got it from him!
It is a known thing among Delaware students. LOL! |
And yet, we got it from DS who is in Delaware, tested, heck I got tested 3 times due to travel while having it and all three tests were negative! It lasted about a week, and the cough stayed on for another week or so. But, I was sick as with the flu, OP doesn't even seem that sick. |
| I will take an allergy medicine, if my symptoms don’t improve then I will take a covid test. |
He had a fever, OP doesn’t. |
The top 5 symptoms for vaccinated people are headache, runny nose, congestion, sore throat, loss of smell . OP has one and it’s the 4th most common. The ears are from swimming. Probably the sore throat too. She can get tested but a ton of people on this board came home from the beach feeling lightly cruddy this summer and not one who tested was actually positive. |
But if OP is only around other adults, it shouldn't matter if she has it! |
| Op, allergies. Those are the symptoms I get when I eat gluten for example. Take an allergy pill. Probably mold. |
Not at all. Delta can spread among vaccinated people, who can then infect kids or vulnerable people who despite being vaccinated, are still at risk from Delta: the elderly, those with comorbidities, and those who were vaccinated more than 6 months ago. Delta is 225% more transmissible than the original strain, and replicates 1000 faster, and all vaccination does is prevent the recently-jabbed, healthy, prime-of-life vaccine bearer from complications and death. It does not prevent transmission. |

In Arlington we had to get my kid a curative test last week. It took less than 12 hours to get results from the PCR test (which is the gold standard test). And it was FREE.
Just get tested. It's very easy to do now and FREE. Unlike last summer when it was a hunt and cost $100 if you didn't want to wait 10+ days. |
I wouldn't worry about people that have vulnerabilities because they have to be careful no matter what. Even if OP tests positive and avoid public until the virus is cleared from her system, that doesn't mean that vulnerable populations won't still be at risk from non-symptomatic, per-symptomatic, and symptomatic individuals. People at risk are taking precautions. We can't live our lives worrying about them. |
| Allergies are bad this year OP. I would get tested just as a precaution though. |
225%? Really? Ok, Einstein who totally is not insane! |
|
Order a home covid test from amazon or go to a test site. It's probably not anything to worry about but I would want to know.
Covid testing is the new strep throat testing. Just rule it out and move on. |
