Can someone explain guest players to me?

Anyhow, MSI has three levels of soccer: Recreation, Classic (select) and Academy (travel) Programs.

For my kid, it's a way of getting him professional coaching, and more than one practice a week, while also not going broke, and allowing time for other sports and hobbies.

It’s not for you to figure out. It’s the responsibility of the Team Manager or Coach of the team your DC will be guest playing for.

I am an MSI Classic team Manager for 2 teams (2 kids), and have been for many years. Your child's MSI card will allow them to play in any tournament in the DMV. For a tournament outside the DMV, who might not know MSI, just email MSI. They will take care of it. Really.

Guest players are very common. Some kids are rostered for other teams and fill in elsewhere. My kid has guest played for a team he left (on good terms) in tournaments on weekends when he did not have a game with his current team.

My kid is not playing Club this Fall for the first time due to high school soccer schedule (4 nights per week) and many AP classes. He is guest playing in some tournaments for his former team this Fall.
