And guess what? That was prosecuted and both girls pleaded guilty.
Yeah, the office fully prosecuted a case that got worldwide attention, shocking how that works. I’ll just point to the words of Chief Contee after several juveniles were arrested in connection with a spree of at least a dozen robberies last week, and he said those kids were known to MPD, and police had dealt with them before, and asked why are the police still dealing with the same people they have arrested before? The juvenile system under Karl Racine is known for being catch and release, and that doesn’t seem to be working out so well right now.
