Cal Poly San Luis Obispo or "Slo" as the cool kids called it. I make 85,000 a year as a communications manager at a trade association.

But "we" didn't get my liberal arts degree.

That is why the sentence doesn't make sense.

Well there's also the idea that going to an ivy league guarantees a certain path in life.. so you can get the liberal arts degree or elementary school teaching job with your Harvard degree but run in a circle where you will marry rich.

Well that is completely unsurprising. Sales has almost nothing to do with academic pedigree. Though I would ask what sport you played?

Kind of 1950s. I know a ton of people who went to Ivy League schools and none are rich or married rich. I know literally one woman who's a stay at home mom and that's because her child has severe special needs. All the other women I went to school with or know through my spouse continued to work when they had kids. Though not always in the field they started out in, to be fair. I know plenty of women with law degrees who aren't practicing law ... but they are working.

But I'll play:

Yale undergrad, Yale law
Harvard undergrad, Harvard law

HHI 330k. Both GS-15 government attorneys.
