When, realistically, will kittens begin to calm down?

Right around a year which was in April. He’s still super playful but sleep more and is generally more chill.

When does kitten craziness peak, and when does it realistically begin to slowly taper?


For us it was about a year old, generally. But I wished it never ended as I find it endlessly entertaining.

2y, generally. I've had one go up to 6y-not a kitten but exactly the same behaviorally.
