| The really cool kids drive its sexy cousin, the Macan. Just sayin'. |
I seriously considered it and test drive it, I prefer a smaller vehicle. |
| We are trying to buy a Q5 but inventory is limited. We have an XC90 plus a minivan already and don’t want another full sized SUV. Macan seems too sporty for my wife who will just drive back and forth to the office. Any experiences with the GLC? |
If I was in your shoes, I would wait ~6 or 9 months for inventory to improve. Unless your XC90 or Minivan is truly falling apart, it's so not worth it to overpay for an in-demand midsize SUV right now. Especially with a high-volume model like the Q5, Audi is normally willing to discount them a fair bit. Wait and the discounting will return. Otherwise, if you buy today you'll be overpaying by ~$5,000 on a Q5. |

Another poster who is on her 2nd Q5. Love it and it has been reliable.

We have owned three Foresters: 2005, 2015 and 2017. 2005 was great—very few issues. 2015 has been in the shop a lot. 2017 is ok so far. We are probably not going to get another one because of reliabiity issues and the fit & finish has been lacking on the recent models. |
| I bought one a couple months ago and its been great so far. I got all the bells and whistles and love the large tech screen and the driver safety features. |
| Very happy with my Q5-- on my second right now. I had a rental BMW X3 and am strongly considering it as my next car. I liked the interface a lot more and it drove so well. |
How much of a discount off of MSRP were you able to get? |
| Do these cars take premium gas? |
| Mercedes GLE. Not as “fun” as a Q5 but still quite powerful, more interior space, has a much better ride and is the best built and most reliable of the Germans in this segment. This after having a few Q5’s as loaners getting fed up with Audi and moving over to Mercedes. ML350 107,000 miles 5 years no issues solid built like a tank. |
