If your kids can advanced pass the Reading SOL in recent years, especially this year, because the reading SOL test is the newest edition (2017) this year, which shows that your kids are
very excellent at reading comprehension .

Now, the Reading and Math SOL are becoming harder and harder, so it is also becoming harder and harder to advanced pass them. I think the school should understand this best.

How come I don’t see World History in Patent SIS for my fifth grader? Only English, science and math? There are no scores, either and only Advanced and Proficient. Do you receive a letter to know the scores?

Is this true even at the Elementary level? My 5th grader scored passed advanced in reading and pass advanced on 6th grade math (AAP) this year.

The Elementary School teacher or the teacher who responsible the SOL test at each school should know the truth about SOL , who best know the SOL test is harder or easier than before , or the number of students who advanced pass the SOL reading and math at every elementary school each year.

It is likely just a fluke. My son is not a big reader and always got a pass vs. advanced pass, but he got an advanced pass this year. We were very surprised.
