When my kids are not sure, they say “Larla’s Mom” or “larla’s parent”. Most times the adult will respond “you can call me ______”.

I hate "honorifics". Drop them all.

First or First + Last works for everyone.

This is what my non-binary teen uses.

I had a professor who used that. It's fine. "Jo Martin" is a decent substitute for "Mrs. Martin" or " Mr. Martin.

Just first name, I mean. We were not formal.

I write formal correspondence at work. We don’t use mr or mrs anymore. We just address the letter to the person.

Larla Smith:
Instead of Mrs. Smith

I’m a straight cis woman. Married twice (divorced once). I have never been Mrs. And have no idea why my marital status matters professionally. Maybe if I was a marriage counselor?

What do non-binary teachers do? I've never seen a school where students call the teachers by their first names.

A pp already explained that they don’t use formal greetings in business letters. Plus so many names are very gender neutral
