FCV is like PSG to me. Good club but in a league no one cares about. When PSG beats up on French competition, no one cares because all of the attention is on bigger, more competitive leagues like EPL. Hey look, PSG won the French league title! See no one cares. Look, FCV is the #2 GA club in the mid Atlantic and beat Skyline in league play! See no one cares or is impressed.

It’s clear that this is a sensitive issue for FCV dad. If your DD is so good, why not try to compete in the top league? There’s plenty of options to choose from in the area. I guess it’s easier to just beat up on GA competition and keep up the facade.

ECNL won't let FCV in because we would run the table in all age groups and it would look bad for a newly admitted GA team to dominate all of the regular ECNL teams. Loudoun is a joke. Mclean is no good. VDA may compete in the 06 age group only. BRYC has no chance.

I have a kid at Loudoun. Not ECNL. So I’m not a fanatic or a blind hypocrite. But you cannot deny these are cold facts. If ECNL admitted FCV into the league nobody, including people running the club at Loudoun, would doubt for a second that it would begin the demise of the club as we know if.

Cool story FCV Dad! I was waiting for you to chime in and throw shade at Loudoun bc it’s super relevant to this thread. You always start with how great FCV is, how Loudoun sucks and then close with why ECNL sucks. Classic FCV dad!
