best children's museum?

I really like the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum in Sterling, VA. Might not be special enough, but my girls love that place. They have a cow you can milk, some chickens and eggs, a couple of horses, a pretend kitchen and pretend general store. It is all inside though so if it's really nice outside, it might be good to get outside.

Have you tried Clemyjontri Park in McLean? That is a wonderful outdoor playground, and it's free.
