This poster is clueless or a true. If your kid has any talent and wants to go pro signing for MLS or USL Championship is in their best interest. Look at Kevin Paredes for DC United. Is this for every player? No way. But if you have talent and can make money right away — do it.

England has like 10 divisions with pro/rel all the way from the premier league to pub leagues.

Divisions 1-5 are all professionals, in the 5th division you start to see part-time players with other jobs but they are paid professionals and would wipe clean any amateur team.

USL Academy goes along with other team leagues. Play runs at the same season as USL seasons so March to October. It is one team made up of u15-u19 players. Players can come from within the club or outside the club (can only play USL).
