DP. Probably! |
Yes. Licensing is still requiring “curb- or door-side drop-off and pick-up of children”. |
I’ve been wondering about this myself for our NoVa daycare. I of course don’t want unvaccinated patents near my child but I’d like it to be back to normal safely so I could visit as I used to. |
But you were ok with unvaccinated teachers near your child all day for me any months? Any unvaccinated parent would barely be interacting with your child while picking up their own. Risk assessment can be so out of whack on this board. |
+1 Plus there are no tears at drop off, which is amazing! My kids are so happy when they get to the drop off station and go happily with the teacher to their classrooms. My youngest is almost 2 and with the older siblings we had prolonged, tear-filled drop offs at that age. I love this for toddlers, though understand the concern of infant parents. |
Actually my child hasn’t yet returned, so no I wouldn’t be ok with unvaccinated teachers around my child all day. |
Our NOVA school is going to start allowing parents in the building at the end of the month, but it's only one classroom per day on a rotation, to limit the number of parents entering each day. Otherwise, still curbside. While I like the efficiency of curbside, I'll be happy to get a chance to inventory my kids' cubbies once a week, since we've lost track of a few jackets and misc items. |
Yep |
Ah well that's not how your post read since you were wondering when you could return to visiting daycare. Putting the cart before the horse? You've been paying to hold your spot for over a year now? |
