| Like once or twice a year. |
Where do you go? I’m looking for someone who knows how to cut curly hair. |
|
Its so expensive and I wear it straight and just past my shoulders so it doesn't need regular shaping. So I get it cut 2x a year, usually a couple of inches so I can let it get longer before the next cut.
Sadly I have to have color every 7 weeks. |
| Used to be every 3-4 months. It's currently been...probably 8 months since I got it cut? I have noticed recently that it feels really long (I can braid it without wispy hairs sticking out, no clips needed to keep stray hairs in pony tails, etc. It's kind of starting to bug me so I'm about ready to chop it shoulder length again. |
| Every 3 months, with longer hair. I can't afford to go more here, so longer hair it is. |
| Once a year or so -- I have gone as long as 18 months. I have wavy/curly hair, so it's pretty forgiving with regard to needing cuts. I have given myself trims and a bit of shaping during covid. Last hair cut in the salon was in January 2020. |
| 1-2x a year |
| Every 7 weeks. That's when I get my color done. I tried only getting it cut every other time (so 14 weeks) but it was to long and my ends were a disaster. |
| Every 5 weeks. It’s the coloring that brings me there so often. I’m only 49, so I’m not ready to embrace they grey. |
I'm no longer in DC, but if you only wear it curly I recommend an experienced DevaCurl stylist. I don't recommend their products (lots of reported issues), but typically very good haircuts as they're taught to 'read' your curls. I've also had good luck at Aveda salons and with their Be Curly products. |
Same here. When I realize my layers have grown out and the shape looks off, I go in for a trim. Daniel Chreky at Daniel's on M Street is amazing with curls. |
| Every 4 to 6 months. |
Every three weeks. I have thick hair that grows super fast. |
| I've had unruly bangs for 20 years, so usually get my hair cut every six or eight weeks to keep them in check. I'm growing them out now - hopefully it'll be every few months or longer, from now on. |
| I have a shorter cut (to my chin). I go every 10 weeks. |
