Don't drink and drive!.. Can you get drunk on KEFIR OR COMBUCHA?.. YES!

Clicked on this because I loved the buzz kombucha gave me when I was pregnant. Damn. Didn’t realize I was getting drunk.

Ok, well are you planning on drinking 12oz of vanilla extract?

I don't understand anyone would pay to drink the nasty drinks with a big lump of snot like goop at the bottom of the bottle. Just disgusting.

Be careful out there all you healthy eaters!

Can you get drunk on kefir?
Fermented drinks like kombucha and kefir aren't actually alcohol-free, and drinking a lot of them could even leave you over the drunk driving limit, an Australian study conducted by Victoria's Department of Health and Human Services on behalf of Food Standards Australia and New Zealand has found.

I don’t think I could drink sufficient kefir to even get a mild buzz. It’s the consistency of drinkable yogurt.

It's also possible to be charged with DUI if you have something like Benadryl in your system. I know someone that happened to.

I don't know about hat but what insane person would buy a substance that says on the box
"may cause drowsiness" and attempt to drive after it? Also that label really is misleading.. if
it does cause drowsiness why they don't say "don't drive' but "be careful with driving?" that is not reasonable! Benadryl should change this recommendation /warning to don't drink and drive.
