MSI = no jerseys—other leagues doing the same?

Are other leagues also holding back on jerseys? They said it’s due to printing issues, but I’m admittedly suspicious that they just don’t want to deal.

I know this isn’t a big deal playing in a similar colored shirt instead of the jersey, especially in light of the many many bigger problems out there, I’m more curious if this is an MSI issue or a Jersey printing issue at large.

Giving out jerseys? You must be in MSI’s Rec league as players are required to buy their own jerseys for Classic and Academy. It’s about $100 per season to play for Rec. Hence, don’t be cheap and buy your own jersey.

Why so rude? Life is short. Be nicer.

Life is short, so don’t be cheap.

A friend of mine has a business that does mostly soccer club jerseys. Two of my kids have worked for him as summer jobs.

This year no supply company is promising anything. The uniforms are not yet being shipped in quantity out of Asia and the South American supply is over sold. And - everyone needs new uniforms this year due to no one ordering last year. They will get them done eventually but it will likely be October or November (staffing up is also a problem this year).

Op here—THANK you! This is the kind of info I was curious about.

Our rec program doesn’t supply jerseys or uniforms either but you buy two shirts of different colors—everyone has the same two colored shirts so it’s easy to do home and away and usually kids are able to fit into those jerseys for 3-4 seasons.

But, just to be clear, MSI rec DOES have some new jerseys. Just picked up for my team a few days ago and I know other coaches who did in other age groups. Don't know if they are only doing some or if the coaches need to affirmatively request them, which I had done.

Op again. Both my kids teams got their jerseys yesterday! I assumed they wouldn’t come since first games had already passed, but they’re here.

If your kid doesn't fit into their MSI jersey, call the office. If they have the right color, right size, you can go pick one up (that's what we did)
