We have a toddler birthday coming up and are hoping to do something outside with his daycare classmates. Anyone have any ideas on parks or spaces to consider near Logan/Dupont? Not sure how one goes about planning something in a public park.

Nope...got sucked into birthday party madness with eldest, it’s dumb. Younger kids get cake and presents with family.

We’re having a family birthday party at the end of May. DD hasn’t seen her Godmother or grandparents for over a year so it will be special to her. She’ll be 3.
DD had a Zoom party for her first birthday right after lockdown started. It was really exciting for us this year to get together for her second with her grandparents (who are fully vaxxed). She really enjoyed her birthday balloon and likes eating cake. But she doesn't understand birthdays yet. So I would not do a party for her sake. It would be for mine, if I thought our friends were comfortable with a larger gathering. In my experience it is hard to actually stay outdoors and it's never as fun.
You'll be fine. Park is great. Individual juice/water bottles/sodas. Can do pizza/hotdogs/hamburgers, chips packets, cutie oranges or cut up fruit, etc. Did this in February for 2 year old dd and around 25 total guests and went so well.
