Restaurants near Dulles Airport?

If you are going to head down 28 to route 50 then you might as well have driven on the Dulles Access Road to the Reston Town Center. Same distance.

Agreed. Same with Dulles Town Center - if you're driving all the way there you may as well go to Reston - same distance. Better restaurants in Reston.

It's before security, and it's a pretty decent restaurant. This way you'd have way more time with your brother, and he'd be less anxious about missing his flight. Alternatively, there's a Houlihan's right by the airport on Route 28, in one of the hotels. It's very close, it frequently has aircrews in it, and the food is pretty good.

Stay at the airport and go to Harry's! I love the Harry's Tap Room in Arlington. 3 hours is not a very long layover at all. Especially when he's got to get back through security- depending on the time of day could be 30 minutes right there. Besides, kids (at least mine) LOVE airports and looking at the planes.

The shopping center w/ the Wegmans/Target, in addition to what PP mentioned, has a California Tortilla and a kabob place. They're all casual almost-fast food kind of places, not table service, but I think that's probably the closest place to the aiport.

Dulles Town Center is not too much farther if you want a restaurant with table service.

Yes it is... Ok maybe its 7 minutes away. Obviously you don't live in that area or else you would know that.
