Your lazy azz hasn’t logged in for 4 months and you think you get to say what is or isn’t happening in those sessions? You have no clue, you admit you don’t log in! |
Well my lazy ass actually never logs in because I’m an adult and not a helicopter parent. Clearly we have missed nothing since December so yeah, nothing important is happening. |
Would you mind sharing when this work got down when kids were in the building 9-3:40 5 days a week? Now it’s 9-2:20 4 days a week. There are literally 12 fewer hours a week kids are with teachers now. When did teachers do planning pre Covid? |
My understanding is that principals were highly skeptical of anyone taking such sick time. I'm sure some teachers tried to call in, but it was very very frowned upon unless you were legit sick and sometimes this required a doctor's note. No scheduled sick days (e.g., for a procedure) were to be scheduled on a day adjacent to a school holiday. |
This just sounds like busy work and a poor use of time. When did you have these meetings in a normal year? Any professional can schedule meetings that suck up time. You have to avoid doing this to be productive. ![]() |
I never learn. No matter how much I explain why this year has been so much harder and more work, you don’t care. Not bothering anymore. Hope you appreciate your children’s teachers and I thank my lucky stars that the parents of my students aren’t so disrespectful.
Have a great night. |
Teachers are people and they are allowed to take personal days as they please. |
At night and on the weekends |
Yep, and I don't care what parents think about it. |
Your kids aren't adults and lazy. Clearly they need monitoring. |
As a parent, I'm fine with teachers taking personal days. As a parent, you can, so why are teachers held to a different standard. |
Many jobs have restrictions on when you can take personal days. If there aren't enough subs, then that's a pretty darn good reason to restrict when they can be used. |
The same counties that deny up and down that there's a sub shortage and refuse to increase sub pay, even for "in demand" days like right before or after breaks because there are supposedly plenty of subs, sure do like to put restrictions on when employees can take leave because there aren't enough subs. Maybe they should think on this for a minute. |
Is tomorrow a synchronous day for all elementary students in APS? Confused parent |
Yes synchronous for k-12 |
