+1 We just rewatched My So Called Life AND The West Wing and in both 90s shows, the women were often wearing some baggy clothes - a baggy jacket or some loose pants - and I think they looked great. I was shocked how much I liked the clothes, actually, because I am Gen X so I LIVED through this period - it's not like it's new and fresh to me. I'm five feet tall and would definitely wear a loose blazer. It would be too much for me with loose pants, too. But one loose thing, one tight thing, I think that would work. |
I'm 5'4" and somewhat curvy. Would this look good on me? |
Well, of course everything looks good on someone under 40, tall, and very thin. But us over 40 and short and somewhat curvy still have to wear clothes. |
Do I want to look like Donald Trump in female form? No. |
Once again for the cheap seats "It's a no for me dawg" |
No, "everything" does not look good on that very narrow slice of people/body shape/age group as evidenced by the URL in the OP. |
Yes. I'm 5'10" and really looking forward to anything baggy and comfortable. |
After spending the year in comfy yoga pants and my night gowns, I’m hoping a business muumuu is the next fashion trend. |
A hard pass for me. At 5’4” this won’t look good on me. I’d feel like I was borrowing my husband’s clothes. |
These can be cute as hell if you accessorize them right. Of course DCUM is the place where literally every single fashion trend is deemed “flattering to nobody.” These people hate skinny jeans, straight leg jeans, mom jeans, tank tops that show their arms, blouses with any kind of sleeve, heels, jean shorts, but also capris, etc. According to this forum there is no clothing that is flattering to anyone. |
