I’m a social worker in a substance use rehab program.

My best friends are a nurse, a kindergarten teacher, and a master gardener (her actual job involves teaching plant care to others and she also has a giant garden herself).

My husband is an adjunct professor who is also under contract for 2 books at the moment. My friends’ husbands are, in order, a computer science guy whose actual work I know nothing about, another adjunct professor, and an ICU nurse.
