Stomach pain. How long before seeing a doctor?

I suggested avoiding things like fried foods, coffee, soda, etc. She recently started the slow release Wellbutrin and a small dose of Adderall. I don’t know if these things are related to the stomach issues.

How long do we let this continue before seeking help from her GP?

OMG.. why they medicate kids for stomach pain now. There is a whole bunch of home remedies before you reach for this kind of heavy artilery.

She’s an adult, and was really struggling with her college work because of her mental health issues. Treating the problems that came with this medication seems perfectly logical to me. I didn’t want her to stop the other meds, and be back in the same situation. We did delay starting these drugs for a couple of years because of the concerns with medicating a teen. I can see now that was not a great parenting decision.

This is certainly true. It's due in large part to our having the same neurotransmitters in the gut as in the brain. The body adjusts over time, for most people.
