Holes in tee-shirts

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this issue. So annoying! I wonder if car seat belts rub the shirt against a belt or pants button?

It's the wear against the buttons and zippers on the front of the pants. It doesn't happen to shirts if you wear a camisole under.

I don't think it is belts per se but anything that rubs against that part of the shirt: i.e., the fastener of your pants.

OP here: okay, so my secret horror is that it is related to muffin top?!?!
Or sneaky mice with really teeny scissors, like the ones in the "Tailor of Gloucester"!
