| Try Craigslist. |

I wouldn't buy a used couch off CL. Order an inexpensive couch off Wayfair. It'll be nearly the same cost and clean.
A friend sold her white couch on Craigslist after her brother got drunk, broke his nose, then passed out face down on the couch. She woke up to find it *covered* in blood. She cleaned the cover, then sold it on craigslist. You never know what people are selling. |
| You can find a neighbor with a pickup truck on laborhutt. Probably your cheapest option |
| Task rabbit |
| Zombie posting alert! Two and a half year old thread! |
Do you think someone will catch a blood borne pathogen from a sofa that has been cleaned so throughly that the buyer can’t spot a huge stain? |
We wanted a MCM desk that was sold on CL. I told the seller we would use Taskrabbit to transport the desk and they got really weird suddenly. The whole deal fell apart over “putting their address in an app”. I can’t understand this paranoia. |
| how is this a question? Are you non-functioning? Get a uhual. |
Do NOT buy a couch off Craigslist. Just buy one at Ikea. Please. That’s disgusting- mold body fluids mice piss bedbugs |
| You can buy and deliver a new couch from Ikea for less; for free from Amazon Wayfair etc |
| I have a truck and loan it to my friends at least one a month for things like this. 2 women can definitely carry a couch as long as it isn’t a sleeper sofa. |
Lack of solid wood and you have to assemble. |
| Not a couch. Go to RH Outlet. Anything but used. |
A friend bought a cat pee soaked couch off of Craiglist. The owner was “so helpful” having it wrapped in in heavy duty plastic when they went to pick it up. |
| You people are so wasteful! This is why the quality of furniture has gone so downhill. People treat furniture like last seasons cheap Walmart tshirt. It’s a shame. |
