My life, in DCUM stages

LOL, started in 2001 when we were buying a house in Bloomingdale and I thought the urban part of DCUM might be helpful.

When my husband originally found out I read DCUM, he was VERY concerned it was because I missed DC and wanted to move back. (something he DOES NOT want to do). I finally assured him that it isn't the DC portion that I am interested in, just the community and advise I get in between watching the drama unfold. He now asks me what DCUM thinks.

doubt anyone would have commented on your spelling. It's been interesting to watch the DCUM trajectory from correction posts for minor issues to almost nothing, even for posts that are hard to read because of all the spelling and grammar issues. Understanding and tolerance have been waning in other areas, but when it comes to spelling and grammar, it seems to have increased a lot.

Yes, I joined (it was a list-serve then) with maybe 100 people. I joined when my son was about a year. He was born in Sept 2001 and will be 20 this Fall.
