Recommend a lap/companion dog

The breeder was very defensive and unhappy but she had one bad review that was a very similar experience and I should have listened to it. It’s soured me on the breed but it may have just been the breeder.

Can you share who this was so others might avoid?

Pug or French bulldog. Both breeds love nothing more to snuggle and lounge in laps.

So overbred the health issues with these two are incredible. I think it is borderline unethical to own them at this stage.
