Many in person precollege programs are virtual this year. My daughter was planning to attend one in person and it was just moved to virtual format and she doesn’t want to attend. Last summer she did lifeguarding so that is what she will do this summer also. We knew a lot of teens who had jobs last summer - lifeguarding, fast food, babysitting etc. This year I’ve already seen advertised job fairs for teens. Summer camps are going ahead this summer and they are hiring counselors. Should be able to find something to do even if it’s not their first choice.
