Good job big brain. |

We left Arlington under these circumstances. Best.decison.ever. We didn't subject our younger kid to it. They aren't the best at developing players and everyone is so 'win' and 'color status' focused at the tiniest ages. It does a psych number on so many parents and players. I found it incredibly unhealthy and my kids took off and thrived when put in an actual merit-based program where improvement and results were rewarded and movement happened in a fair matter without stigma. |

I don't know how much of this is "club" and how much is "coach". I have seen Arlington handle this sort of thing well at older ages. In any case - I would suggest that the OP talk to the current coaches (ASA = Alexandria I assume? It's a bit confusing because ASA also = Arlington ) to get clarification on their thinking and where your daughter stands and what the plans are.

| Glad you switched to PAC |
| Did I just read that there is a local youth soccer club that makes decisions solely on merit? LOL |
Can someone provide a link to all the great D1 schools Arlington Girl Soccer routinely places players? |

According to a post earlier this morning:
[Post New]03/11/2021 08:56 Subject: Feedback on ARL girls travel program [Up] Anonymous Some of the recent commitments: George Washington, UNCG, Syracuse, Georgetown, American, Syracuse again. |
I saw some William and Mary commits and a Wake Forest a couple of months ago. |
| When are coaches for next year being announced by the club? |
I doubt any organization of any sort is completely free of politics - but some are considerably better than others. |
It’s all on the twitter feed. @arlingtonsoccer I know there is much drama on the 08 girls thread about Arlington, but at the end of the day it is a much better-run program with better coaching and better collegiate prospects than Alexandria, on both boys and girls sides. |
