Our Honda had the same issue, and a mechanic told us it can happen because the gas cap isn't sealing properly or we're simply not closing it enough. It's no big deal. I know it sucks to see the Check Engine light on all the time, but life ain't perfect. |
Ha‼️ Just like unplugging the battery for a few minutes, than re-plugging it in. Outta sight outta mind….??! You wish! Lol. Honestly the most common reason that this frequently occurs is a loose gas cap. Make sure that it is not loose. |
