Ask a stupid question, get stupid answers. You just sound so helpless and paranoid, it’s rubbing everyone the wrong way, OP.

Why can't you eat egg battered brisket? It's cooked....

And bean sprouts are safe. Vegetables just need to be washed.

OP I mean this kindly, but you seem super anxious about normal food. Pregnant women aren't meant to live this way. Avoid alcohol, too much fish and undercooked meat and you're good.

Nobody is bullying you but what is strange is you can't google these questions or go to the source. I can tell you know I figured out how to do it in 5 seconds.

I'm honestly sad for those who have posted mean and rude posts. It seems like you are all really angry, unhappy people. I hope you're more compassionate when you are not on an anonymous message board. I also have noticed that no one actually was able to give me a straight answer, so clearly this is not as straightforward as everyone is making it out to be

Why are you being mean? I thought maybe people were more familiar with the restaurant and could say, "yes I love ABC but I'd avoid XYZ if you're pregnant." There was a recent similar post about Sweetgreen that I found helpful. In my experience when I have asked chain restaurants how things are prepared they don't really know the answer. For example, I asked a woman at Cava whether their tahini Caesar dressing was pasteurized the other day and she said she had no clue.

The sweet green post was different. OP there was asking about a specific food and whether it’s unpasteurized. You are asking a general question about an entire restaurant. How would we know? I doubt anyone has memorized their menu. Ask a dumb question you get responses like this.

Yeah, soooo unhappy over here.

We told you to ask the restaurant directly. That's your straight answer.

Cuz there is no straight answer to such a broad question. Go to the restaurant. Pick something you like. Ask what it’s made of and place your order accordingly. The list of foods to avoid is pretty short and self explanatory. Also what’s wrong with radishes? The sweet green OP didn’t get rude answers cuz she didn’t ask a dumb question

You seem like a complete and utter moron. Terrifying that you are going to be responsible for raising a child.

I literally quoted for you exactly what i googled. That's a pretty straight answer if I ever saw one. In the time you took to write what you did above, you could have googled about XO paste. Instead you sit here trying to guilt us for not doing something for you that you should be capable of doing yourself.

No one is giving you an answer because none of us know. Because it's a very very very specific question and people are wondering how on earth we would possibly know.

Can you give me a complete list of everything that's safe to eat at Landini Brothers in Old Town? Thanks!

OP have you actually talked to your doctor about what is safe to eat? it sounds like you have a lot of restrictions that aren't based in reality

Well, the menu doesn't show how dishes are prepared or all of the ingredients, so I just figured it would be easier to get recommendations from someone who has eaten there before. For example, just glancing at the menu, I can't tell if the chicken with egg fried rice contains chopped up bean sprouts or not. I also have no idea what "XO paste" is in the shrimp and toast (not that shrimp appeals to me right now anyway, but just another example). I'm assuming the "half-a-cado" salad which contains radishes is not cooked, but don't know that either. So again, just looking for recs from someone who is more familiar.

Google XO paste. Obviously radishes in a salad won’t be cooked. If you are concerned about bean sprouts avoid them. Anything else?

I just went through the menu. There are very few things that you should stay away from. I even would get the brisket and ask for no egg. If it comes with the egg, just remove it. No big deal. OP, do you have a lot of anxiety?

I think it's a good name for a girl.
