+1. That's so weird. Did someone at Wegman's screw up? Is their Mac and cheese usually sweet?

But I'm about to be that person, because it truly is the same amount of work as boxed mac and cheese. This recipe is so easy. 3 ingredients, one pot- boil pasta until water has been absorbed, stir in evaporated milk and cheese. Done.

That’s a fantastic recipe, so I don’t think that’s being snobby at all. I’ve tried making it before and it is delicious and easy. What’s amusing to me is that when DH is cramming on a project at work he craves box mac & cheese, aka the latchkey kid special. “Fancy” mac & cheese just won’t scratch that itch.

DH is the same but his comfort food is stouffer’s frozen Mac and cheese.

And I don’t think this recipe is snobby. Just other people who are like “how hard is it to...and list 10 steps and it takes 3 times as long”

I never knew boxed mac and cheese existed until I had a kid. (We had macaroni with milk and butter, my mom grew up in Minnesota. Even though we also had Velveeta in the fridge. So I didn't even know there was such a thing as mac and cheese).

Discovered when I was out of milk that making Krafts with cream instead was totally delectable.
