Right, nothing teaches the kiddos and everything is only a scam. |
"Over the year"? As in just this year, during a pandemic? |
|
HP offers a high tempo session with thousands of touches a session that on their own is useful for any player, especially the younger ones. But the variable that makes HP either exceptional or just up tempo cones drills is the players in the session. The coaches do a excellent job of placing the kids in small groups of similar skill. Since many of the session rely on 1v1, 2v2 and occasional 3v3 games matching skill level is important to challenge the kids. If a HP session is going to be bad it will be for one of two reasons, your kid is outmatched and is getting killed, but they will be better for this, or your kid is crushing everyone. |
Sounds like Loudoun $ucker |
We haven't attended - but know many who have. Feedback has always been positive. |
Sorry. Over the years. Plural. We have not been there during the pandemic. |
Tamir does 1v1 sessions himself? |
Tamir doesn’t do any sessions. Similar to other complaints about HP, he has younger coaches run sessions. Being in Springfield, check out Sam Okpodu. He operates out of Alexandria and does 1:1 training or small group. And yes, he coaches each session. |
No but he may listen to what you are requesting and help make it happen. |
 "lots of low level players" - yes that can make for what might seem like a less than stellar session but should only skilled players have access to this training? Was your child not low level at some poine when starting int he sport? |
Hey, if you want tp pay for that, go right ahead. |
| I have had two kids go through HP Elite over the years. Both high level and 1 is playing college. Did HP do that nope. All the coachers and hard work along the years did. But what HP did for my kids is teach them muscle memory and 1,000's of touches correctly on the ball. Best money ever spent. |
DS has done a speed course for them and is doing their finishing training coming up. He likes it, but it’s only a supplement to his small group training, team and Futsal trainings. I wouldn’t expect to see a significant impact in your child’s development from a once a week 1 hour training. But it does help in the overall program you create for them. DS is u14 and plays MLS Next and he still likes it |
| HP elite is really good for getting a lot of touches and a chance to practice with some elite players. As someone said above muscle memory and conditioning. It’s run almost like a military boot camp. And it works |
