Which Shark Upright Vacuum?

Another fan. I have had mine for 2 years and use it almost everyday. It's so easy to pull out, lightweight and the battery lasts around 20 minutes. I usually charge it every other day. If I had a bigger house I'd splurge on the extra battery.

Are the Shark cordless machines better than Dyson's for those of you who have owned both? I've had a Dyson cordless for just about 2.5 years but the battery is barely holding a charge now. I've been intrigued by that Duo Clean soft roller feature for my hardwood floors.

I had that issue with my wool area rugs. I had a Dyson which was too aggressive so I tried the Shark and had the same problem. Ended up getting an Aerus (old school Electrolux) because the brushroll is much softer. I'm sure Miele or Sebo would be good too.
