Viable pregnancy?

OP here. The bleeding has mostly stopped. Heart rate is still normal, but beta is not increasing as it should. She went from 5700 on Friday to 7500 on Monday. She will see her OB on Friday for an other ultrasound. One of the people (doctor?) she saw at the emergency room when she went, told her that baby seems totally fine, but the gestational sack is small... but have never heard of this before and I really don’t know what to tell her. My best friend seems hopeful and realistic at the same time.
