I tell myself over and over that whatever food I am craving I have eaten a hundred times already and not eating it this one time won't be deprivation.
I also tell myself that whatever food I am craving will always be available after I lose 10 lbs (or whatever weight), that there is no shortage of that food. And then I can go ahead and eat as much as I want of it. Sure that is not really true but in the moment it helps to think this way |
