Side parts are out???

They’re out if you want to dress like a teenager, lol. I have no interest in teen fashion.

I center parted my hair the other day to do a roots and length check. I’m growing out a short cut and it’s at the ultimate awkward length— too long to deal with just via product and careful styling, but too short to pull back.

Anyway, I looked like Shemp from the 3 Stooges (I’d add a photo but I’m on my phone and it’s too hard). Suffice to say that I don’t think center parts are right for everyone!

I don't take fashion advice from the generation that ate Tide pods.

Side parts went out of style around 2016-2017. Center parts are now so ubiquitous that deep side parts are now having a moment.

I’ll keep both for my old xennial self.

Who cares what they say?

LOL and so true.

What jeans are there if not skinny? That’s basically all I can find. And don’t tell me those idiots are pushing high rise acid washed mom jeans with crop tops? That looks terrible even on them.

The 80s seem to be back- with center parts.

My hair looks crappy with a center part, so not doing it. I'm also GenX, so too old to care at this point, lol.

I don't think my mom's generation cared what my generation thought of her clothes. It's weird when grown women try to chase teen fashion. They're supposed to think we're lame, we're supposed to think they look dumb.

There are lots of jeans available between “skinny” and “high rise acid wash mom” jeans. Straight? Girlfriend? Lots of midrise as well. And all of this is available at like the Gap and Old Navy. So I am extremely confused by this comment.

Yeaaaaah, they’re out there, but you’re being silly if you want to pretend that skinny jeans don’t still make up about 80% of jean options. I just looked at Old Navy and most of their straight, flare and boot cut jeans are just slightly more generous skinny jeans. Are you old enough to remember what “boot cut” and “flare” meant in the 90s? There’s nothing like that now, not commonly.

Fun fact I recently learned about cowlicks: they can indicate underlying brain anomalies and brain architecture!

Dp. I have three cowlicks.

I’ve got like six in various wonky spots on my head. And the personality to match!
