Pronounced like Zee-von. OP here - he was one of my late father’s favorite musicians if not favorite. He was an amateur musician himself and his singing style was similar to Zevon’s.

I know who Warren Zevon is but have never heard his name spoken aloud so I thought it was pronounced like Kevin.
I like the name and the sentiment, but I do think it will get mispronounced all the time. |

I have a friend who named his kid Waylon, after Waylon Jennings. Hearing the story of why you want to use the name, you should use Zevon, or Warren. Who cares what people think, if it means a lot to you? |
