Why I hate Florida

They just featured a grocery store in Naples in NBC Nightly News the other night. Not a mask in sight, including the workers. It’s appalling.

Florida is the most backward state. They have been acting like this isn’t real all along. It’s not just individuals...towns hold festivals and parades, clubs and churches are open and busy, etc. My family and friends down there hate it because no one wears a mask on a regular basis and everyone acts like it’s 2019, and they are totally shocked when someone actually gets sick. Their vaccine distribution is a disaster, my friend who is an ER nurse just got her second dose this past week, my 88 year old grandfather can’t get an appointment anywhere even though he is on multiple lists, and my cousin who is a firefighter has covid. First responders aren’t even being vaccinated yet down there. They have been giving all of their vaccines out to snowbirds from all over the country and even Canada, but they aren’t prioritizing their own full time residents.

Reasons to hate florida

DeSantis
Lack of any good public schools
Selfish
Criminals get clean slates to work there (Ohio DR lost medical license for having sex with patients, now is a legal expert making $600 an hour from Palm Beach court system, and works with women at a large University guess no back ground checks?)
Defaults on loans and Bankruptcies higher than most other states
Over doses and scamming rehabs are abundant and regulations LOL zero.
55 and over communities scams. How high can those CDD and HOA fees go in ten years?

Florida the land of criminals and dumb as rocks.

I’m not a Florida defender, but honestly what state, besides WV, is knocking it out of the park with vaccinations? I’m in MD and haven’t been able to get my 80 yr old father with cancer a vaccination yet.

Yes, but if it’s really so much worse than Florida is letting on, why aren’t there reports on the news about the hospitals being overrun? Oh wait, that was California. Instead the news focuses on a grocery store with staff and customers not wearing masks. You’d think they would instead being doing an investigative report into the bodies stacked in the morgue.

Actually florida has a lot of highly rated schools and many magnets , many more than fairfax county or mvps https://www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools/florida

No those schools are not that good. Those magnets a just ways to move students around it's a scam.
