ECNL post-season locked in already?

Not true...my daughter's team still has 3 games left to play.

We played all nova teams twice except BRYC. When we play them, that'll wrap up the whole season. Sure, some clubs play a couple more or whatever, but as a whole across the nation, it's looking like they decided to just assign spots and leave it at that. Don't forget, a lot of clubs haven't played a single game let alone have sights on a post-season. They'll just call this the asterisk year (like pro's did a little) and move on.

Well it’d be great if we don’t have to travel to California this year.

If ECNL was condoning traval all year with thier events, don't expect June to be any different.

It's not the travel piece that could prevent it, it's the CA rules. There haven't been any games in CA this season.

PAC-12 and WCC start play this weekend. If numbers continue to decline and the vaccine is distributed, it is possible that a revised ECNL season is played.

What I don't get in the ECNL ranking is that they list so many teams for the "Champions League". Have they moved form a 32- to 64-team format?

Relegated for who? I’m not defending BRYC but their teams are getting results against top GA teams. ECNL is much tougher than the GA.

First hand knowledge from DD: plenty of girls surrounding BRYC are looking to move to ECNL for 2021-2022.

2005 and 2006, DD and her friends talking about it recently

Maybe 2006, but 2005? I can’t imagine moving to an unknown in your most important recruiting year. Unless you’re not a starter. (My DD’s an 05).

Thank you for not being able to imagine to an unknown, whatever that means. We’re going to a better recruiting league (ECNL or GA) for DD’s most important recruiting year.

^^^Good luck switching unless she is a strong starter. The ECNL teams are at capacity. What clubs are players trying to come from??

Got it. I was thinking GA to ECNL.
And “the unknown” is a new coach, new teammates, new environment.
