Marjorie Taylor Greene - GA-14

Sad the GOP is going down this path. I guess whatever Trump and Putin has on these people will drive the party, but hopefully not the country, to ruin.

Dems need to get the Voting Rights Act passed to minimize future election BS from the right.

The Voting Rights Act would not keep whackos like MTG and Gohmert out of Congress. Look at their districts on a map.

It would ensure fair voter representation and essentially the entire South would turn blue in the Senate and in the majority of House seats for each state. Look at what Stacey Abrams did. There’s power in numbers and if we had those seats now - we’d have enough to expel MTG.

does everyone know who katie hopkins is? if you don't, just know she got banned from everything before banning was a thing.

it appears greene says something truly bizarre &/or awful here, and i don't even know what it means.

why "white people," if that what she said?

Why has the present-day GOP become a repository for all these looney tunes?

I don't know, but they sure are. Kevin McCarthy makes Newt Gingrich look positively Jeffersonian and that is a heavy lift.
Devin Nunes, Jim Jordan, Tommy Tuberville---they are not just venal but incredibly stupid to boot. But Marjorie Taylor Greene may rapidly rise to the top of the horrid pile. She is ghastly.
I wish all members of Congress---in order to be sworn in---had to take and pass the same citizenship test we require of immigrants seeking naturalization.

They'd just cheat anyway.

I think there needs to be an investigation into HER election.

Lol for what? If the district is R+27, they probably picked her. Republicans are stupid.

Was it NC that was supposed to be redrawn? Might she be out in two years?

Everything’s going to get redrawn after the census, but the R legislature in GA will protect her. I don’t think GA is hideously gerrymandered the way NC was - they had courts overturning their maps.

Isn't she the one who ran her opponent out of town? It isn't about the seat being R; its about her and finding out what she did to get there.

Trump is excellent for Dem turnout. He should run again, imo. I look forward to it.

MTG doesn't even live in her district. GA doesn't require candidates to live in the Congressional district they represent.

She was specifically RECRUITED and enticed to run for Congress in that heavily GOP district. And yes, her Democratic rival was literally run out of town and quit the race.

There's a lot of shadiness happening here.

She will replace McCarthys. He is much too lefty for the party now.

What could go wrong with the republicans showing their true colors?
