it sure looks like the fbi was protecting their guy by keeping him from more serious charges.

yea, bad optics.

He is Tom Cotton’s VP pick.

It’s all over Reddit. This guy’s life is in danger. Even if he wasn’t recently working for the feds he’s an easily turned informant. It would be great to get his testimony on his meeting with Trump in the White House. A team of US Marshall’s should go in and rescue him. He can go into witness relocation disguised as a Black man.

But were they doing that for Tarrio’s sake or so that they could continue to have an informant embedded with the Proud Boys? What’s the implication here? Also, why isn’t the information about his being a confidential informant sealed? Doesn’t public knowledge of it put his life at risk, as well as make him useless as a CI in the future?

He was in court in 2014 asking for a reduced sentence for his cooperation. That's why his lawyer and the prosecutor were discussing it in court. Back then, the proud boys didn't exist, so he probably had nothing to fear. I guess the guys he snitched on were not that scary.

I’m no lawyer, but it seems like this part of sentencing arguments should happen in the judges chambers and be redacted in any transcript that is made public.

Who released the information and why would they do it?

So when he gets into prison, he can't side with the minority groups or the white power gangs now as he's a snitch. He will be on his own. Which cannot go well.

Will he even go to prison?

It's in an old court transcript from 2014, so it's public information.

Perhaps. He certainly has a prior record, could be on probation, and may be a multiple offender now. So even a small charge could get a max sentence. Let's hope so.

Are they a racist organization? The seem to have a diverse group but I've read they are white supremicists.

Not all cooperating witnesses are treated like that.

Chanting "Jews Will Not Replace Us" is such a message of cultural unity. Also the founder of Proud Boys, "We will no longer cuck to the left by appointing token negroes as our leaders. We will no longer allow homosexuals or other 'undesirables' into our ranks. We will confront the Zionist criminals who wish to destroy our civilization.

"We recognize that the West was built by the White Race alone and we owe nothing to any other race."

IF the FBI had a highly placed informant, then why did they revoke the DC Guard's ability to respond without Defense Secretary's approval?

I don't think he actually met with him.

I swear the guy has been an fbi plant the whole time. Who else would wear that ridiculous get up - it's so neat and cute with the white claw in the vest. He could be a 15 year old girl.
