Serious question - if teachers are refusing to teach in person full time next fall....

It’s not about teachers refusing to go full-time. The teachers will be in school full-time, but if mitigation measures are still in place since the kids can’t be vaccinated, then students will likely be hybrid due to our overcrowded schools. We won’t be able to space kids 6 ft apart in a classroom when there are regularly 25-30 per class, without splitting the class in half for a hybrid option. Again, the teachers will be there every day, the students would be split for a hybrid option to accommodate distancing. Stop focusing on this fantasy that the teachers will refuse to be in person full-time once vaccinated and focus on our very real overcrowding/class size problem.

Every county has made it clear to their teachers that only a very tiny number of teachers are/will be authorized to telework. Everyone else has to show up or take unpaid leave (not guaranteed) or quit.

Hasn't this been covered on literally every thread on this forum?

But this thread specified it was a serious question—all the MANY OTHERS must’ve just been for fun! 🤪

It’s getting soooo old. There’s literally 3 threads right now : “if other states open why not us” “can teachers be fired if they don’t go in” JUST READ THE OTHERS, your inane questions are not new or thought provoking and have been addressed 10,000 times
