| How do you feel about the hold that led to the interception before halftime? Can’t have it both ways. |
I honestly can't picture that play. I'm not a partisan here with strong feelings either way and, as a Steelers fan, I certainly don't have natural affinities for Brady. But, I would say that, even if there was a blown call in favor of the Pats, that hardly proves some overarching conspiracy. |
Why not? That call was bad. The pass interference call at the end was good. |
| Isn't Brady expected to retire this year? |
No. He's said he wants to play until he's 45. |
WHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.......... |
+1 |
+2 Preach. We will no see this type of player again, in pur lifetimes. What a great player, team mate and leader! |
Exactly. The interception holding was tic-tac compared to the 2 seconds grabbing of jersey that extended a foot. Not the same, interception was the equivalent of the holding in Brady’s second I. And buy the way, Godwin was held on two occasions that were equivalent to the interception. And Packers scored on the drive which was BLATANT offensive procedure. I mean he stood up and took two steps back. How was that missed?? Rodgers had his chance and some unfortunate coaching decisions. I think Bucs are going to get beat good by Chiefs but what Brady did was still amazing, even if he personally did not play well. |
+2. Bad calls are part of the game, any game. But, Brady is the golden boy. He benefits from calls in is favor more than anyone else. It's gross. |
| Because Brady is white. |
Barf. Remember Deflategate? |
| Facts to support my OP that brady benefits from penalties more than others in a NYT article today. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/04/sports/football/super-bowl-bucs-chiefs-penalties.html |
| If you watch the angle from the end zone where the ref threw the flag, you see both the clear PI, not a judgment call, and you also see why the ref through the flag late. He signaled dead ball first and then dropped hand to get flag. Took a second. You can see him shake his head no as soon as he sees the PI though. |
Brady is arguably the best qb of all time. I don't think so, but he's in my top 5 maybe top 3 passers. He's gonna get the calls like most superstars and having the right complexion doesn't hurt either. |
