| I am so glad my kids have outgrown CEC. I didn't like touching anything there when we *didn't* have a pandemic, never mind now. |
| Chuck E Cheese is why we deserve the pandemic. |
Pretty sure it was the source of the pandemic. |
Then go and when you come down with Covid, don't get medical help because you would be taking it from those of us who take covid seriously |
AMEN! |

Ok-- i'll admit it since its anonymous. I hate CEC. I purposely kept my children far far away. And then one weekday in November when we were at our wits end - we went. And I was shocked at how clean it was. But this was just our experience.
#1 we went when it opened and only stayed for an hour. No one else was there. #2 it was a weekday morning before the Thanksgiving spike #3 They don't have any of the ball pits etc anymore ( thats what I was scared of the most.) My kids played the ticket games- the worker wiped them down after each game. Rode on some of the little car rides. (Again wiped down after each use). and we sanitized every 10 mins or so. Masks on the entire time. |
| I haven’t been to Chuck E Cheese but I have been to the trampoline park and an indoor playroom twice. Still here, no Covid. The places are mostly empty. Plenty of room to distance and everyone wears masks. |

We're in a part of MD where it's open. I drive by it routinely and there are never more than a handful of cars outside. I believe they cant' host birthday parties since that's a large gathering, so attendance is low. Go during off-hours and you'd be fine.
Also, if you for some wild reason crave their pizza, CEC is on UberEats (I'm not kidding). |
| More like Up Chuck E. Cheese. |
| Covid is airborne. If you're indoors and breathing the same air with others, who potentially have Covid, your risk goes up every minute you're in there. |
| I always scoffed at Chuck E. Cheese and hated it as a kid. That said, my 5 and 2 year old LOVE it. They had a few parties there last year and got into it that way. It actually isn't bad to go to on a week night (non pandemic). Very quiet and manageable. We haven't gone back since the pandemic...we don't do anything inside. That said, since my kids love it, we have gotten take out from there. It is REALLY fun. You can get cotton candy and churros and they give you A TON OF TICKETS for when you do come back. Even to pick up take out you have to do temperature checks etc and it is REALLY empty. I personally wouldn't go but if you do indoor dining I would say it is about the same. |
