How to find a good in-home daycare?

No one chooses an in home daycare over a center or a nanny because of their reputation. We all know they are the cheapest option.


We did. We knew the owner already very well from church and knew that the ratios were better and she loved our child. We can afford a nanny or center easily.

We also did. We went to a wonderful in home day care that was clean and flexible on hours. My kids never got sick. I didn't have to put up with a center's policies. I was sad to move on to preschool with both my kids.

Had a nanny but realized quickly our DD lacked social interaction. with other children. In-home daycare was the best option for us. Our DD had a great relationship with the providers and other children. Smaller group of children allows the caregivers more one on one time. We toured other centers and found the rooms were far too overcrowded.
