| This kind of rumors about certain schools have been circulating on social media for many years. |
| Op is a pot-stirring moron. Make a bunch of generalized, third hand, unsubstantiated claims, then bail from the thread when people ask questions or for substantiation or any support to back up these claims. Totally useless. If anything, the posts in response to this drivel have actually elevated my view of Harvard (previously I didn’t have a strong opinion one way or another). |

The contrast between Harvard and UChicago with respect to freedom of expression and association and their approaches to wokeism couldn't be more striking.

What attack on free speech? Are you talking about curtailing hate speech and incitation to violence? You know that in most wealthy nations, such actions are prohibited by law? The USA has an overly broad interpretation of free speech, which leads to hate crimes. |

I guess the definition of free speech is hard for you? The SCOTUS has ruled on this multiple times, you may not like it but it is what it is. |
No, we're talking about punishing students from getting together in voluntary clubs and other associations like fraternities or sororities by banning them from being team captains or denying them career services support simply because such associations were deemed to be "non-inclusive." Under this idiotic rationale, the Harvard administration might as well decide who students can pick as their friends with punishment if each student can't identify at least 20 URMs or any other silly demographic who are BFFs. |
Oh, you’re the dolt who calls anyone you disagree with a “MAGA.” Your posts are completely recognizable and smeared like feces all over this site. NP |
