NYE cigar

Not without talking to the parents first. I would be livid if my child came home having smoked a cigar at your house.

While I think PPs are overreacting to one cigar a year, it would be wildly inappropriate for your children’s friends to participate.

I would allow my kid to do it (no 17 year old is going to pick up a cigar habit, c'mon) but not his friend. And a grown man who smokes one cigar a year is not a "smoker."

Many 17 year olds vape and/or smoke weed anyway although I'm sure none of you have a teen who would do such a thing.

No, but I had a close family member die a painful death from lung cancer and I cared for him while he died.

One cigar is not an issue! I smoked 1 cigar after prom and 1 cigar after high school graduation. I am not 42 and am not a smoker in any capacity.
