Breakfast idea for a sweet tooth

I'm addicted to Michelle's granola, original formula. You can order it directly from them if you can't get it in stores during covidtimes.

In really cold weather I make oatmeal with milk, a sprinkle of nutmeg, a little light brown or turbinado sugar, and sometimes a few raisins or dried cranberries. Not the healthiest, but it sure fills me up and it's only about a teaspoon of sugar for a serving.

My HS classmate has a cooking website that includes some great ideas for breakfast -- she often includes tips on how to pare down the sweetness or otherwise make it a bit healthier.

Lots of homemade muffins are basically cake but you can make them healthier by using whole grain flour for at least part.
I also love the fluffy eggs waffles, Wegmans Cran-Orange bread (with sugar on top!) and cinn-raisin bread.

Thaw and drain a bag of frozen peach slices, spread them out in a buttered 8x8 pan. Mix together 2 cups of old fashioned oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar, a teaspoon of cinnamon, a sprinkle of nutmeg, and a teaspoon of baking powder. Sprinkle the mixture over the peaches. Mix one egg with 2 cups of milk and a teaspoon of vanilla extract, pour over the oats and shake the pan a little until it settles. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.

You guys, granola is not healthy.
OP, if you aren't hungry enough for something savory in the morning, then why not just skip breakfast and drink coffee?

Yes! One of my favorites.

I do oatmeal with a spoon of PB, sliced banana, and a sprinkle of chocolate chips which get melty and it tastes amazing and satisfies the sweet tooth

I think having a couple small pieces of good dark chocolate every day after breakfast is totally fine and healthy.

This greatly depends on the granola.

Dark chocolate espresso beans. Those count as breakfast.

Thanks!! Especially appreciate the recipes and suggestions. I am totally fine with eating pie or whatever I feel like or skipping, but not leaving me feeling my best.

OP here with a PSA: gluten free flax mini muffins in chocolate brownie are checking all the boxes. Available at Whole Foods.
