OP here - Reston, Great Falls, Sterling

Great falls soccer may have a winter camp

Are we just guessing? OK. Hey, Herndon MIGHT have a camp. Might not. Just a guess.

My son plays for PAC and attends the field lab camps. He enjoys them but he also plays for the club so not sure how it is for non-PAC players.

Has anyone gone to any of their camps? Its run by some of the PAC coaches. My DDs friend plays for them and has tried to get my DD to go.

My child has gone to their camps and enjoys them a lot!!

Thanks, I was looking at this but they seem to be multi sport camps. I was hoping for just soccer. Or am I missing something?

I think msi is doing clinics and bsc has futsal clinics which are basically the same skills for that age.

What do you do with your life posting on an anonymous soccer forum at 5 am?

LOL. Im just seeing this. It seems you were being a smart a$$ but i will answer your question.

I wake up early by nature my entire life..I am a morning person.

I do surgery many days of the week so we have to be at the hosptial by 7am. My kids are in school so I wake up super early to pack their lunch/snacks and make sure their backpacks are packed with their supplies and masks are laid out. I lay out their school clothes to make it easier on dad to not have to struggle when he gets them ready after I leave. All this before I go to work and prepare my own lunch/etc.

My kid does soccer practice some afternoons so I try and make sure his winter practice clothes are clean laid out. Cleats are visible- etc. They help sometimes at night, sometimes not- still young.

I usually run 3 mi outside at 5am before i do all of the above. If its <30 deg i use a treadmill but i prefer outside.

I prefer to do these things in the morning (see line one). Especially running or I will skip it later.

My internal clock is set to this routine 7 days a week..I "sleep in" to 7am maybe one or twice a year.

Sometimes I scan this board before I start my long todo list.

I could go on but you get the idea.

This is what I do with my life.

Thanks for asking.

My kid is doing this camp now and having a blast. He plays for the club but there always seem to be non-club kids at their camps, typically a friend of someone on the team.

I am the person you responded to. Thank-you so much for taking time to respond, you are obviously very busy and a definite contender for mom of the year. Also, as a fellow runner, I am super impressed that you get out at 5AM.
