| I don't tip these guys anything. Surprised other people do |
|
$0
I don't tip people for doing their jobs, especially people employed with taxpayer dollars who get pensions and cushy health benefits many people struggle to afford. |
| Different people have been delivering our mail daily. |
|
We tip our mail carrier $20 because it's the max - we alternate between Target gift cards and just cash in a card.
We're in a cold war with the trash guys so they get nothing. |
|
$20 for each garbage man--same two come back and get recycling later, just different truck.
$20 for regular mailman. $100 to hair stylist. $100 to milkman $25 to newspaper delivery person |
You think your garbagemen get pensions and health benefits? Those are almost certainly private contractors that are getting paid the bare minimum... |
Details please PP
|
They know what they did. |
Wow what does the milkman do to deserve $100? |
|
$60 for trash and recycling crews
$20 for the mailwoman $100 for my house cleaner I feel like the UPS and Amazon prime guys should get tipped but it’s often different people. |
It's for what he doesn't do. |
| Haha I love the idea of waiting for the garbage truck to come and then running out of your house into the cold with an envelope of cash, chasing down the truck, waving the envelope around. |
| The garbagemen always change so nothing, plus they throw our trash and recycling bins all over the place. The mailman get a box of treats and a card. Nicest guy in the world. Paper guy gets $50 tipped through the WaPo site. I think that’s too high but DH was a paperboy while growing up from 4th-8th grade so he has a soft spot for them even though none of them are kids anymore. |
This. I do tithe and it all goes to those most in need, not things that would give me immediate gratification. Think starving children. I am an average person with faults I am sure but that is the bare minimum I must do to live with myself. |
Oh tell us, please, we’re so bored. |
